Dr. Averyl Hintz – Osteopath

Dr. Averyl holds a Master of Osteopathic Medicine, a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences from Southern Cross University, and a postgraduate certificate in dry needling. Her extensive education and training reflect her commitment to providing high-quality care.

Averyl is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve long-term results, and her positive and empathetic nature creates a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone she treats.

Incorporating a range of functional and structural hands on osteopathic techniques including soft tissue massage, muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, trigger point release, manipulation, functional and counter-strain is how she aims restore and promote function and health. She has experience in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and tailors each treatment to the individual.

Averyl has a keen interest in treating patients with headaches, neck and back pain. Adopting a holistic approach to patient centred care she will also work with you to develop exercises and stretches to engage you in your own recovery. Averyl’s journey into osteopathy started many years ago after experiencing the benefits of manual therapy for managing injuries acquired through her previous career as a professional ski instructor. Always searching for new challenges she decided to embark on a new adventure moving from the snow fields of Victoria to Queensland to pursue her passion of becoming an osteopath.

Outside of clinic Averyl enjoys spending time with family and friends, surfing, snowboarding, dancing and travelling.
