Having taught and practiced yoga for over a decade, teaching all over the world. Nick has taken his personal practice to advanced levels, which has given him a unique insight into the complexities of biomechanics of the human body. He also understands the strains that can be placed upon the body from any practice of high-end human movement. From this knowledge, Nick offers his patients valuable strengthening and mobility exercises in order to attain optimal performance.
Once a week Nick spends the day rock climbing in Mount Coolum or elsewhere on the Sunshine Coast. He has been climbing from an early age and all over Europe and Australia. As such he is passionate about treating climbing injuries and sports rehab to help other active people and sports professionals reach their ultimate goal and peak performance.
Nick is also very passionate about nutrition and believes in optimising ones biochemistry goes hand in hand with optimising ones biomechanics. He completed his master’s paper on the role of nutrition within osteopathy.
In early 2014 Nick was diagnosed with Ross River Virus and suffered inflammatory arthritis in the joints, widespread pain and fatigue. He tried everything he could to get on top of it and found that through a ketogenic diet, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, intravenous vitamin therapy and ozone therapy he is now able to live symptom free. This experience gave Nick an insight into the debilitating effects of chronic inflammatory disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia.
Nick believes in an accurate diagnosis, which then can lead to specific treatment and rehabilitation strategies. He offers comprehensive ongoing guidance and support and Nicks aim is to reduce pain, increase biomechanics and augment the fastest healing process and achieve its fullest potential.
